ORPHAN CARE

LOOKING AFTER ORPHANS

God calls us to care for children with no home. The disciple James called it "pure religion." Here at Rooftop Church we take that call seriously. Fostering and adoption is a priority among many Rooftop families. We also host a chapter of the regional organization, Fostering Faithful Families. The ministry seeks to raise awareness and advocate for fostering and adoption.

Fostering Faithful families also supports those that are already involved in orphan care - walking in solidarity with one another and offering resources and practical support when needed. For more information about fostering/adoption, visit the Fostering Faithful Families website.

FOSTER and ADOPTION PARENT'S NIGHT OUT

Saturday, Dec. 7 | 4-7 pm | at Rooftop

Foster and adoption parents! Let us serve your family with a break this holiday season at the Parent's Night Out on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 4-7 pm. This event is free and open to any family who is fostering or has adopted.

Your children will play games, make crafts, and eat pizza while you go on a date, shop for gifts, or relax. Kids 12 and under only, please. Spots are limited. Register now.

All our volunteers are screened with a criminal background check. Rooftop Church's Fostering Faithful Families ministry is hosting this event.

THREE WAYS TO SUPPORT ORPHANS

  1. Attend the Fostering Faithful Families Meet Up during third service on the fourth Sunday each month, in the study downstairs.
  2.  Give families a break. Volunteer for respite care of fostered children. Email fff@rooftop.org to find out how.
  3. Sign up for the Care Portal and receive notification when struggling families need donations that could help keep their kids out of foster care.
