Single's Ministry
PURPOSE:
To meet the unique needs of single adults who are seeking spiritual growth, healing opportunities, and social fellowship in a comfortable environment of people with similar experiences and lifestyles.

GUIDING VERSE:
"My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:2-3, TNIV).
EXPLANATION:
Singles' activities are designed to build Christ-centered community primarily among adults who happen to be single by chance, change, or choice. The scope and precise focus of singles' events will vary-expect anything from progressive dinners to theology discussions-but will always be set in an atmosphere of acceptance and openness where singles can meet people with similar experiences, interests, hopes, and hurts to establish friendships that are nurtured in a Christian context.
In addition to providing single followers of Christ opportunities to grow in their walks through fellowship with other singles, most singles' events are also designed to reach out to the spiritual seeker who may be just learning to connect with God. Finally, since the goal of Rooftop's singles' network is NOT to create an exclusive "church within a church," many singles' activities will be integrated with the at-large Rooftop community, either in planning or participation.
