Missions
PURPOSE:
To provide support to Christian missionaries and missionary organizations throughout the city, region, and world through prayer, practical assistance, and financial support.

GUIDING VERSES:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20, NIV).
EXPLANATION:
Just as we should each be individually committed to living out the commandments of Jesus in Matthew 28, the elders at Rooftop Community Church have committed to living out these teachings as a community and an organization by designating 10% of Rooftop's budget for missions and benevolence. Thus, Rooftop "tithes on the tithes," giving what we can to support missionaries within the St. Louis area and as far away as India.
Additionally, the missions team is working towards increasing our prayer support and direct encouragement to these individuals and groups who are committed to sharing the good news of Jesus to the communities in which they live.
