What do you do at Rooftop?
I'm a pastor at Rooftop. My main areas of oversight are the Worship Ministry (which I have overseen since Rooftop was just a twinkle in Matt’s eye) and the Administrative Offices. I also fill the roles of Sunday Morning Coordinator, Programming Assistant, Pastoral Assistant, and Information Officer. In addition, I've served as a small group leader and take on any projects that Matt decides he doesn’t want to do himself.

Goal(s) for your ministry:
Hebrews 13:15-16 says: "Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." My hope is that worship at Rooftop would please God first and foremost. I also want my ministry to inspire continual worship in the lives of Rooftoppers beyond the boundaries of the Sunday morning experience.


Family:
I've been married to my wife, Liza since 1998 and we have three sons: Alex, Jacob, and Sam. And I probably shouldn't forget our dog, Sgt. Pepper.

An "interesting" fact about you that most people don't know: 
I've hunted jackrabbits in a Mexican desert with a 22-gauge shotgun from the back of a moving pickup with a bunch of drunk Mexicans.  Fortunately no people (or jackrabbits) were hurt during the incident, but back at the cabin when it was time for bed, the Mexicans decided they didn't want to/couldn't get up to turn off the light, so they shot out the lightbulb.
