What do you do at Rooftop?
I lead the Communications Team for Rooftop, which handles the advertising, marketing and communications efforts for the church. I also serve in the Rooftots ministry.
Goal(s) for your ministry:
To reach as many St. Louisans as we possibly can who are yearning (knowingly or otherwise) to hear and experience God's truth and love. Also to provide tools that inspire and encourage the Rooftop community to reach out to others - family, friends, coworkers, random strangers - and let them know the awesome and exciting things that are happening; not only in our church, but also in our community as a direct effort of our fellow Rooftoppers.
Family:
My husband, Aaron, is a musician and master brass technician and trombone specialist. He can also be found some Sundays running sound, playing bass with the worship team, and sometimes playing alongside the illustrious Rooftooters. We met in the Music Department at SEMO (Southeast Missouri State University) - he as a brass dude, me as a vocal chick - and have been together since. We have two little guys: Milo, who was born in December 2005, and can usually be found most Sundays running around like a crazy man and eating bagels; and Hank, who was born in January 2009, and is well-known for his, well, impressive girth (is that the nice way to say "rolls upon rolls of baby fat"?). [:D]
An "interesting" fact about you that most people don't know:
I actually have a (very much unused) vocal music degree, and in high school was quite involved in the theater program. This involvement may or may not have included choreographing "110 in the Shade", as well as playing Patty in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" and Dolly in "Hello, Dolly". I will neither confirm nor deny.
