Current Series:

Every Sunday around the world, followers of Jesus gather together to sing songs, learn from the Bible, get to know each other...and eat the flesh of a man we believe rose from the dead. Then we drink his blood. Even more surprisingly, we do this because he told us to do so, "in remembrance" of him. It was because of this practice that early Romans called Christians cannibals. But it's not cannibalism. It's Communion. But what is Communion, exactly? What does it mean? Why should we do it? What should we even call it? Communion? The Lord's Supper? A sacrament? The Eucharist? Despite the fact that Communion is so widely practiced, it's not widely understood. Most Christians don't think much about what it is exactly we're doing when we do it. But it's a deeply meaningful act, and offers us a tremendous opportunity to learn what it means to commune with God, and with each other, through Jesus-the Bread of Life.

Spend five weeks with us investigating what different passages in the Bible have to say about Communion-what it is, what it means, and how to do it. It's said that a good meal consists of good food and good friends. Communion gives us both. Come find out how.
