Common worries and how God can defeat them
Everybody worries. And everybody worries about different things: money,
death, reputation, companionship. Any number of things keep us awake at
night, staring at the ceiling, watching the clock tick....
The thing about worry is that it's understandable: our problems and
questions are big ones. The other thing about worry is that it's pointless.
It usually replaces productive prayer and action with unproductive and
destructive anxious thoughts.
But how do we let go of our worry and trust God? How do we live out the
promise of 1 Peter: "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for
you"? Spend nine weeks with us at Rooftop Community as we talk about common
worries and how the Bible can help you combat them. Because life's too
short to spend your nights staring at the ceiling.
