Ladies of Rooftop are cordially invited to attend a Testimonies & Tea Event. We will gather at the building on Saturday, May 7 from 2-4 PM for fellowship and to sip iced tea while a variety of Rooftop women share their testimonies and stories of God's faithfulness in their lives. This is our opportunity to reconnect as a community of women; growing deeper in our relationship with each other and with Christ.

The HODGE PODGE is a favorite event at Rooftop Community Church. If you've never been it's like a glorified garage sale..only there is no sale. EVERYTHING is FREE!!
SHOPPING DETAILS: Arrive between 9 and 10 am for fellowship, breakfast pastries, prayer and instructions. At 10am everyone will go around placing personalized post-its on the items they want to take home. At 11am a team of Rooftoppers will go around searching for those items that have multiple names. One name will be randomly picked. By 11:30 you should be well on your way of packing up your items and everything not claimed is FREE FOR ALL!
DROP OFF DETAILS: Bring your stuff to Rooftop anytime after 2nd service on Sunday, January 30th through Friday, February 4th. If coming during the week, please call the church at (314) 842-2000 to be sure the church is open. - If you are physically able to pre-sort your donated items and drop them off in the designated areas around the building to be organized on Friday night, this would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, they can be dropped off in the big room. - If you must drop off your donated items after 5pm on Friday, we would hope you are available to sort your personal items or we would also accept a monetary donation to go towards scholarships and childcare services throughout the year. - Furniture can be hodge podged; however, it is your responsibility to remove it from the building on Saturday, February 5th if it does not find a new owner. An option is to provide a photo along with your contact information.
Accepting: GENTLY used clothing and linens, free of stains and holes, in good condition electronics, books, movies, games with ALL pieces, Home Decor, Kitchen, accessories, beauty and personal care items, arts & crafts, office supplies and all other Hodge Podge items that need a new home.
We are also accepting donated post-it notes!
A WORD ON VOLUNTEERS: - If you help sort on Friday night (February 4th) you will have an opportunity to "sticker early." - We appreciate anyone who is willing and able to help pack up the leftovers for our charitable donation immediately following the Hodge Podge.

Run for Mercy is annual event designed to raise funds for the Mercy Ministries home in St. Louis, Missouri. Mercy Ministries is a nonprofit organization designed to meet the needs of young women ages 13 - 28 facing life-controlling problems such as eating disorders, abusive relationship patterns, addictions, and depression. This year's run will be September 20, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. There is a $20 registration fee. If you are interested in joining other women from Rooftop at this event, contact Cindy Mills: (314) 729-0842 / onesister3@charter.net. Or for more info on the run, check out http://www.runformercy.org/
A Note from Cindy: Mercy has three homes for troubled girls in the U.S. and several overseas. One opened in Fenton about 3 years ago, and I've been volunteering there since the first of the year. It serves girls ages 13 to 28 who are dealing with issues such as abuse, addictions, eating disorders, self-harm etc. The girls live at the home free-of-charge and spend their time studying the Bible and meeting with counselors, among other things. The average stay is 9 months, and almost all of them leave completely changed. It's an incredible ministry. (file:///C:/www.MercyMinistries.org, if you're interested)

We will be taking a trip to a beautiful winery in the Pevely-Hillsboro area - Villa Antonio Winery. It's only 30 min. south of the church. Don't like wine? That's ok... keep reading! The trip isn't really about the wine; it's about getting together with a great group of women, relaxing in a country setting and having great conversation. The winery allows you to bring in food/picnic baskets. They also have a very nice menu to order from. They do not allow outside beverages/coolers, but for those that aren't wine drinkers; they have soda, water, beer and iced tea. We will plan on getting there at noon and the live band starts at 1:00. If you would be interested in carpooling, please contact Michelle Thayer to let her know. She will then coordinate everyone carpooling and provide directions. For more info about the winery and directions go to http://www.villaantoniowinery.com/ For more info, contact Michelle Thayer: (314) 517-8526 / shelly.thayer@gmail.com

Come watch Evan Almighty under the stars at Francis Park Saturday, June 28th, starting at 7:30 PM.
Here is the plan...bring your girlfriends and head to Francis Park at 7:30 PM. Bring snacks to share, if you'd like. We'll hang out, eat, drink and get to know others. The movie will start at sunset on a huge blow up screen. What's better than watching a movie under the stars? You can stay for just the pre-movie hang-out time, come for just the movie, or do BOTH!
